WHY DESIGN
As a graphic designer, I am committed to producing visually striking and impactful designs. Over the past 25 years, I have gained extensive experience in creating successful brands for major American companies. My strength lies in developing brand-centric materials that leave a lasting impression on consumers. Throughout my professional journey, I have always delivered timely and excellent work that has been highly appreciated by co-workers and clients alike.
My passion for design was ignited after discovering Graphis magazine in the late 80s. Growing up in the Eastern Block where commercial design was not yet studied, I started my career designing educational materials for children such as books, toys, and playgrounds. My education was based on the principles of Bauhaus since most of my teachers were students of that movement. Fortunately, my family moved to the USA in the early 90s, and I was able to transfer my university credits to Temple University. There, I attended the Graphic Design program at Tyler School of Art, where my teachers were knowledgeable and inspiring, providing me with valuable insights into the history and current state of the graphic design industry.

CURRENT EXPERIENCE
Since 2018, I am leading design projects that equip Aramark's sales teams to win multi-million dollar bids. My expertise lies in creating unique, cohesive, and imaginative RFP responses that make a lasting impact. I work alongside a proficient team of writers and video production experts to produce client-centered unique proposals packaging, inventive collateral, dynamic presentations, and captivating event concepts and graphics. With each project, I strive to learn as much as possible about the project or client and their values to help our sales team achieve their goals. Furthermore, as a liaison between the internal agency, vendors, and sales team, I ensure the timely delivery of the sales collateral and products.
Objective:
The design and writing teams were tasked with creating materials that immersed the client, the world's largest asset management company, in a customized, elite program created just for them.
Action:
Designer Boriana Neilson created collateral that features powerhouse colors, sophisticated fonts, and high-end photography to match the company’s exclusive profile. Powerful storytelling by writer Andrea Manley that touches on topics important to the client was paramount in our approach. Andrea and Boriana worked together to create chic brand names and logos for the hospitality program and created splash video graphics,  a tasting event book, and swag bags, mugs for a tasting presentation.
Outcome:
The client was wowed by the detail and thought that went into the materials, the program, and the presentations.
